get stage two and 2.8 pulley to start, then get full exhaust, that should get you close.

It's not that he sux at driving(well maybe he does), but that shifter is so sloppy that I don't know how anyone could be fast with it. Just wait till he gets a B&M shifter and he'll tear you up. You will need about 260hp to hang with him stock(that is for a 05 or 06).

Right the ripshift is sweet too. I have a couple of buddies with GTO's. one 06 one 05. I drove the 06, and man what a ride. It is nothing like my 69, the new ones are so smooth and once you turn off t/c you can do some nasty stuff to those tires.

The 5.7 shouldn't take too much to beat. a stage 4 should definitly take it down from a roll that is.

I think you should find a new friend. lol If he's causing that much carnage and trouble he's a bad influence on you.

Anyway, I know this isn't what you want to hear but you should consider modding to suit yourself and not to keep up with your friends. It's much more satisfying. Good luck either way though.

You'll still need about 235 hp for the 5.7L. What hp does the intense stage 4 put out?

You have to be careful with the STG kits like those, because they have more of a mail in tune which is not specific to each car. Every car is different, and if that tune isn't set right for your ride, then you may have motor issues.

Don't get stage 2 and a 2.8 to start. Dumb idea. Get a stage kit from Tag or somone.
