Beating the heat with TVS?
damn, talk about a shorty! It looks good though.
And house>car everytime. I'd rather have a house to live in with no ride, than have to live out of my car.
I can wait till next year, when things get warm again. The time will present itself.

Sorry for invading you thread Rodimus.
If you wanted to get the lowest possible IAT2 readings I would suggest hooking up a Cry O2 kit and spray it directly on the MAP sensor. As everyone know that will not improve performance other then trick some of the ECU adders IAT2 tables to advance timing. (which is not good).
A true test of a cooling mods effectiveness is in the EGT temps. EGTs mean a lot more then IAT2s.
I have killer chiller on my car atm...(not hooked up atm)
I am only running 50% fans, no meth
this weekend meth/fans and KC will be all put back on...
right now I am averaging vabout 25* above ambient cruising
i will keep you all updated
PS 2k5, i seen your other half of the project
not done yet, but i knows

Very good point. The IAT2 readings come from the MAP sensor located at the top of the IM after the laminova cores.

Besides, only cheaters fool the map sensor for good readings.
I am going to explore where the best site would be for meth injection, since I'm not totally convinced that injecting through the intake is the best method. It's more than likely the easiest. I already have one 7gph nozzle tapped into the neck of my supercharger (shhh, no one can see it...
) and I'm thinking about using two more in the intake manifold, going downstream right before the laminovas. I have to look at my ported intake manifold again, to see where the best points of injection are going to be.

Best solution ever!
question if you have it before and after , wont there be a delay for you to get
the whole spray of meth? if so how do you tune for that?
the radiant heat from the road does not help cool anything since my H/E is right on the ground, well its close. i prolly need to get a bigger rig than what i have , im using a H/E from a lightning.
That is just an idea I had. No one has ever done it. I am the only one who has this IM spacer. I guess someone could tap the IM in 4 different places and spray that way.
I have had this IM space plate for about a year now and don't know what to do with it. Right now there are 4 Siemens 60# injectors in there. But those ports could be threaded and meth nozzles could be added pretty simple.
If you spray before there is already that delay. But it is so minimal I would not be concerned about it.

and also i have 4 meth injectors and it works very well also
It will disinigrate it very quickly and you will notice over time a slight decrease in performance!!!!!
The injectors must be external mount from D.O. and they need to spray into the runners on the (HEAD) If you want mega gains like freakta or myself you will do it like this otherwise your just hurting performance and thats like throwing money away!
I am working on using servo controllers to spray with fuel! That will give you the most controlled gains I have heard of over 70hp on other projects they didn't have dyno's posted?
I know for a fact with the cobalt community and grandprix community freakta and myself are making the most HP with METH we kinda know what where doing.
please dont waste space with posts like this, you are no help
