Aside from the normal cooling mods...would you guys say that intake choice may also effect cooling/intake temps?

freakta's setup is very impressive, but having already purchased all my cooling components, I'm committed to seeing what numbers they produce (IATs).

Kudos to freakta for pioneering air-to-air for us though.

OP stick with a bigger H/E, easiest to install. Dual pass takes a long time.

There are two that I'm aware of. Only one is actually available, but I don't know how many people are actually running it.

1) New High flow lower manifold - Eng@RebelAutoWorxs

2) Ported lower intake..... - fast98

How does that work on this style of blower?

RAW intake.....

The one from OTTP? If so its still the same crap manifold design, just a port on the laminova inlet/outlet section. (I could be wrong tho)

that's misleading, air to water has a much higher capacity for efficiency when done correctly.

But i agree that methanol does help as well.
I agree that you cna never have enough cooling mods to a point. Depending on the person you could just be throwing money away on them. If you have a street driven only balt and dont drive the **** out of it all the time...its a waste of money imo. If you are at the strip or the track yes all the cooling mods possible is the way to go.

Meth for the price is the best cooling mod.

even if its only street driven and say you have a 2.7 on it. that lone right there at WOT will heatsoak. If you have a 2.9 or smaller at least a bigger h/e or Dual Pass or even both will benefit you even if you have the honda that comes up next to you and wants to run on the highway

Were talking about the stage 3 pulley though. You would need to do a few pulls in a row to get noticeable heatsoak on the street. If a Honda pulled up next to me on the highway and wanted to run i'd let him go do his rice thing and keep doing my thing lol

I have built two increadible intake manifolds both put out impressive numbers both completely beat the M62 heat soak issues and I can build them in small quanitys. I'm already doing three as it stands! But If you really want to run a small pulley effeciantly you'll need a real intake manifold like the ones I build and They don't break the bank...
