it may be true, i'm going with their header, and possibly downpipe, but a custom 2.75 exhaust, and an Apexi WS muffler. super quiet, but has the same amount of flow as the loud ones. my buddy has that on his SpecV and it sounds amazing. i know it's a different engine size and all, but you can tell it's a great muffler.

I know this might be rice in some eyes but in order to do the setup i want I have to go with dual weld on N1 style exhaust. Then make my own piece by piece

Well to be completely honest on our s/c engine it is very hard to get a sound that does not sound "ricey", magnaflow, corsa, hahn all have very low tones to them making them a little more bareable.

Does magnaflow make a s/c exhaust...best sounding...then just change the tip...I think I have a folgers can around here somewhere.

That's hilarious...even when I had a huge hole in the flex on my downpipe I never got pulled over even though it sounded like a garbage truck. Cops are just bored I guess...ease off the throttle when you see them...or just go neutral...that will help somewhat.

They don't do sniffer tests in PA to my knowledge so if you tune out the exhaust codes so no mil you should be good...I'm not sure if they actually look to see if you have a cat...they may.

Actually they do it just depends what county you're in. They either do the sniffer test or straight through the OBDII data link.

Where can I get the 3" magnaflow for 400 bucks? Does it sound like the 2.5" system? or better?
