Good question. I have been thinking about building up my head, new springs, valves, retainers, and getting it ported. However the more I think about it, the more I think to myself "is it really worth the money". I don't think I need an all out drag car by any means, but the more power the better lol. I have lots of mods currently, but for some reason just can't stop modding, maybe its the meth lol.

You should have had it ported at the same time.

Wow man, it sucks to see a motor go but I'm glad you, your friend and your dad are getting right to work on it. Thats awesome.

Good luck with the rebuild.

Just a question how did you pull the block out? Don't you have to pull the block and trany because it sits on that bolt up frame? because my clutch went out in my car and me and my uncle were gonna replace real quick until we seen that obviously the car was a uni-body, and that the car sat on a bolted up frame, so we obviously did not have a lift and I took it to the shop to have it done, and it was a very pricey fix that I don't wanna go threw again, let alone my motor blowing, but I wont have to worry as much if you guys know like some sort of little secret to removing the motor. I mean only thing I can think of was well you gutted what you could unbolted the block from trans, had something maybe underneath the car to help hold up the trans and maybe just muscled the block up and out of the car....?

kinda of confused on wahat u said but if u want to pull the tranny im pretty sure u have to pull the whole motor which means pulling out the cradle
