Good question. I have been thinking about building up my head, new springs, valves, retainers, and getting it ported. However the more I think about it, the more I think to myself "is it really worth the money". I don't think I need an all out drag car by any means, but the more power the better lol. I have lots of mods currently, but for some reason just can't stop modding, maybe its the meth lol.
thanks alot man i will be ordering some pistons from you very soon. i just need to wait to see if the engine needed to be bored out. And i will have more pictures up of the engine out and apart as soon as my girlfriend gets me the camera and cord

lol! welcome to my world. just be happy u didnt f your as bad as i did mine. and just an fyi this might end up costing more that u think. if your gonna do it make sure you do it right. dont skimp on ANYTHING! i learned the hard way. BTW it might have been the black stripes that did ya in! get rid of those bro!

Damn B, your in deep, glad to see you take on such a project, i'm sure the outcome will be rewarding. Cut NO Corners!!!!! And for god sakes, put down some plastic or cardboard in your trunk before you throw all that oily crap in there next time, lol....
dang 40 horses! i was thinkin like 30 thats pritty impressive! lol and yea id like to hear what your goals are. there are a lot of ppl on here that have been or are in your situation and we all have loads of info to help you along the way. dont hessitate to ask and always remember you get what you pay for!
Just a question how did you pull the block out? Don't you have to pull the block and trany because it sits on that bolt up frame? because my clutch went out in my car and me and my uncle were gonna replace real quick until we seen that obviously the car was a uni-body, and that the car sat on a bolted up frame, so we obviously did not have a lift and I took it to the shop to have it done, and it was a very pricey fix that I don't wanna go threw again, let alone my motor blowing, but I wont have to worry as much if you guys know like some sort of little secret to removing the motor. I mean only thing I can think of was well you gutted what you could unbolted the block from trans, had something maybe underneath the car to help hold up the trans and maybe just muscled the block up and out of the car....?

honestly i just want to make the motor stronger so it wont blow again. maybe do some cams if my taxes get back but then i have to get tuned again si im not sure not like anything big wise. im just like i said making it a stronger motor to hold 18lbs of boost.
