Bleeding the clutch?? Need help bad
I installed my clutch and new throw out bearing and have been trying to bleed the system for about 5 hours and I can't seem to get the pedal pressurized. I used the method from the lsj gm hand book in chapter 5 and just haven't seen gotten any pressure. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I just changed my clutch whenever I did my turbo swap. I had a friend open the bleeder as I pushed the clutch in. Once I hit the floor he closed it and I pumped the clutch few times. Then we repeated several times. That seemed to work for me.
Well I figured out why I couldn't build pressure, the hydraulic fitting on the throwout bearing was not on square and was leaking making it not get pressure so tranny is off and problem appears to be fixed
When I did mine I just cracked the bleeder and let it gravity feed for around 15 minuites. After a few bleeding sessions it was done. I have seen people make a cap for the brake resivoir and regulate an air blower to 10psi. Then pressurize the resivoir to force the fluid through the system.
