Blet tensioner help

I am trying to loosen the tension of the belt but it won't move at all. I have read guides here for some instruction but nothing works. Clockwise, counterclockwise, pushing down, none of it makes the tensioner pulley move. Is there any way to release some tension besides taking a wrench to it like everyone says?

15 mm wrench and push towards the firewall. Not that hard man. If you strip the top part off it like i did from taking it off and on so much a pry bar and the right angle and everything is just as easy.

Our tensioners are a pain in the ass. Figured they would design a better way for us to do it. My **** stripped the first time i used it. Pry bar FTW. i guess...

You really should remove the belt BEFORE removing the blower. If you damage the gasket, then you have to replace it. Also, why risk damaging the intake manifold when you can run down to the store and buy a prybar and take the belt off in 2 seconds?
