And expensive as ****!
Expensive yes I will give you that one lol very true, put the process of the build itself isnt that bad, the only thing that I thought was a real pain in the ass was the timing chain....

He had a little blow by and now he thinks he needs new pistons...
lol youve noticed that too?

buwhahah....finally somebody speaks the truth.

Jason keep the stock CR and if you want the best deal go with CPP(cobalt performace parts)

the owner is a good friend of mine, real stand up guy....however as of late dimond has been ****** with him...sending the wrong pistons, no coatings, no rings, ect

and remember to use your stock rings if they are "ok"

and dont fallow the rest of these idiots who beleve every thing they read in this place....

do a compression check and go from there.....i bet it was more of just a random back fire or a tad bit of blow-by....nothing to warrant an engine tear down.

No it sounded like he bounced off redline, his redline is 7k rpm's, but he was at 6krpm's. Your car wont revlimit at 6k rpm's no matter what.

Exactly, I have a good feeling its blown since the car runs like complete ****, bogs constantly and bounced off the limiter at 4k once already...unless this is supposed to be normal then i guess im in the green

well hate to say it, but I think I'm in this club too.

Dipstick is like a chimney, oil all over #4 spark plug and of course it runs like ****.

Cause:

1. Selling my AFG and waiting too long to get the LC1
2. Testing too many products for TAG on my car

So I would like to drop the compression to 9:1 and go turbo. Any help in where to get them or anyone have lower compression pistons installed??
