Where is your boost gauge suppose to be at when you car is turned off??

whatever it was at then the power was lost.
Its not really important.

the important one is when you put your key to the ON position before starting.
it SHOULD be right on 0.

good way to check if its reading ok.

Depending on your elevation, it wont read exactly Zero. Sea level and close too, it should be Zero, higher altitudes will show slightly above Zero. This is with the key on, engine off.
