Boost Actuator
Boost Actuator
I noticed while changing my oil filter that the boost actuator on the positive side didn't have a hose plugged into it. After further inspection I found it tucked down underneath the actuator. I plugged it back in but it's probably been that way for 5000 miles since the last oil change. The vacuum side had been plugged in the whole time.
Would this have caused any issues running so long in this state? Would that mean it would be over boosting without the positive side on the actuator because it would be missing the pressure to close the value all the way? Will reconnecting improve fuel mileage?
