Boost guage Switch?

Has anyone switched the boost guage from a stock KPA guage to a stock PSI guage?

Nope, but I would be interested in doing so...

If anyone with a psi gauge wants to sell it to me or trade for the kpa gauge let me know.

Because our gauges go to 140kpa (or something like that), the writing is really small and annoying.

Thats why i swapped out the stock gauge for the autometer pro comp ultra lite. It is a great gauge. Has silver face with red light to match stock gauge, plus it is mechanical

Your boost gauge is in PSI and you live in Canada?? Weird.

Perhaps your car was originally built to be sold in the US, and then was shipped over to Canada at the last minute or something.

I sold my gauge to someone on here, they wanted a PSI gauge and they hooked it up and it worked fine. They might post in here at some point but as far as i know it is a direct replacement and no calibration is needed.

I like the Canadian gauge. It has more stuff to it. The US PSI gauge does not read accurately since there are 4 ticks over 5 pounds of boost. The kPa gauge is at leased marked evenly at incriments of 10 units!

I do agree that it is silly that they even bothered to change it. I didn't even realize Canada's was different until I came across a pic a few months ago.

I may be in for a group buy depending on the price. I love the fact that they changed our boost gauge from PSI to Kpa, but they couldn't figure out that canadian coins ($1, and $2) don't fit in the stupid coin holders!

The Autometer boost gauges are know to go bad after a while (ask any SRT owner). Mine would sit in the -5 vac. when the car was off. I would suggest the VEI gauge. It is a digital/mechanical gauge and works awsome.
