Boost question

Possible boost problems, any help/feedback would be appreciated. I noticed last weekend while driving on the highway (long trip) that when I hit "boost" it kind of smelled. Today on the way home from work, by buddy who was following me said that when I hit " boost" he saw black smoke coming from my exaust. Any ideas.....?

Is it making full boost Steve? If it is then I wouldn't sweat it, these cars do run really rich.

Black smoke is ok at WOT. Hopefully someone will come along soon and be able to flash your ECU's to lean out your mixture a little.

lcaunt, how many miles are on your car? Are you through your "break-in" period yet?

lcaunt The max boost is 12 PSI when you're at high RPM (near redline) and when the temperature is'nt too hot or too humid. Maybe you should go to the dealer to see if you can ajust the little srcrew on the bypass valve.
