Hey guys, I broke my tranny yesterday and was wondering if your ambient temperature gauge, speedo, trip meter, and gas mileage dispays all stopped working? Will they resume working when I swap another tranny in? Thanks

well my mileage is still there but a few of my stuff went as well...... wtf?

 

MPG, speedo and trip odo are all based off of the speed sensor in the trans, but they should still display. Ambient temp is a sensor out on the front crash bar, so it has nothing to do with anything. I'd have to agree with the others saying bad cluster or electrical problem, possible bad BCM or something.

 

is the transmission out of the car right now??? if so, id guess a ground wire thats unhooked or something. aside from that, no clue.
