Unhappy Brutal sound from SC (Not Coupler..)

I put on my Stage 3 Kit a little while ago and after I got my SC back from the dealer it was making what was said to be the "Bad Coupler" sound. The way everyone described it made sense but after replacing it the sound is still there, and I think getting worse..

It's turning to a grindy marbly sound that I'm afraid might be coming from the bearings on either end of the rotors. How would I go about checking these or replacing them? I took it to the dealer so they could use the proper tool to pull it and they said the tool it called for didnt work so instead they used a 3 jaw transmission puller (somewhere along those lines). And said they used a similair tool for install of the hub.

I'm at a loss on what to do, I've tried 2 different brand new couplers and replaced the oil.

Hopefully I don't need a new SC. Boosts and runs fine otherwise.

Thats uber shitty.

I have access to a press, where did you get your bearings from? Any diagrams on how to do it?

I looked in your thread and it didn't make much sense without having it to look at haha.

Sounds like you're dealer did something wrong. Honeslty, you could probably find a used M62 cheaper complete, used then rebuild it. Plus you're already replaced a couple couplers. Just easier IMO.

I completely agree with the dealer screwing it.

They didn't use the proper tool and it got shady from there.

Never going back. I talked to them and it turns out they don't know anything about superchargers (I was informed differently before they had it). Shitty deal.

I guess I'll start looking for another M62, maybe I should just bite the bullet and go TVS haha.

Mine is for sure the supercharger. Stethescope on it, what was wrong with your valve train.

So i tore her down today.

Oil was good and full. Rotos appeared to be scratching the rotor housing very slightly which could cause the grinding noise which would be from the rear needle bearings going. The other bearings feel fine. When the snout bearings go do they feel notchty at all? Mine are still smooth and I don't want to replace them if it won't help. Coupler is still perfect.

For how much I'd pay in shipping I might as well by a used one if I went that route. Damn it living it Canada.

I'm getting a local bearing place to check out the bearings and such.
