Build Book Injectors?

I did a search and found nothing. Does anyone know what size the injectors are on the motor used in the build book, it says 5.64 gal/sec, but how many lbs./hr. is that? I found the density of gas to be 6.09 lb/gal, but if you do the conversion, something doesn't add up....or maybe being out of college for 3 months has hampered my math skills. Anyways, if anyone know I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks

13 gallons / 5.64 = about 2.5 seconds!

Depends on how fast you're going i guess

Stock on the LSJ...not L61...

He has a 2.0L and is looking for his own stock injectors, lol.

If you want injectors, hit up www.lightningforceperformance.com. They sell the 42# and harness for $179 and 60#s and harness for $220.

1 gallon doesn't equal 1 pound.

How did you get that? They are running a 77.9 mm pulley and an 8k RPM redline, also is says right in the book that they upgraded from the stock injectors to these.

I know exactly what you're asking and am curious myself. On GMPD's 300hp LSJ build, they include the forged 10:1 pistons, Bates valve springs, neutral balance shafts, and a 2.85" pulley. They also included upgrading injectors and engine management and am also curious to what size they upgraded to.

Expect to see a floating valve soon if your rev limiter is 8000rpm. GM recommends it not to go over 7250rpm on stock valves.

The build book for the LSJ is actually for the Time Attack one. That is actually just a Stage 2 tuned like a mother though with a NX kit. That put out 280whp I think w/o Nitrous. The 42.5s will reach over 100% duty cycle though with lots of tuning and a 2.7"

Maybe its 42# injectors, 77.9 mm = ~3.1 inch

Yeah, I realize about the top end and stuff, it is being covered. That is what I wondering about, from all that I have read a good DC to have is around 80% but have been reading about all of these people running 2.7 and 42.5 and running somewhere around a 120% DC, that just doesn't sound safe to me. But from my understanding an inject DC of over 100% sounded impossible, I think I need to do some more reasearch!

Lots of people seem to run over the 100% duty cycle. The Stage 1 for INTENSE the guy was running at 103% DC. There is no chance of ever running over 100% duty cycle with the 60s though because it is just flat out impossible with how the chart is set up in the PCM...unfortunately.

They're running a 73mm pulley which is 2.87 inches in the 300hp LSJ book.

How can we see about that? You have HP Tuners...you know for a fact that the chart cuts off at 63lb

That should be 5.64 grams/second. It works out to 44.7 #/hr.
