build parts

a co worker asked me today what he would need to build a 350hp cobalt. i think it has a 2.0 sc. i told him stage 2 is a good start, but he is rebuilding a insurance write off, so any thing goes except NOS which is illegal where im from.

s2 is definately not a good start. 60lb injectors and other supporting mods, turbo swap or harrop swap. Can't get 350 on the stock blower.

agreed closest you'll ever get with a good tune and nitrous is like 300 to 310 and then thats pushing the internals of the engine

Turbo conversion or twin charge. Even then you need an engine build...er it's recommended.

well... with a turbo im sure you can run 350 w/o new internals... I WOULD get axels though... clutch if your going to be riding it hard... you can probly build you own turbo kit for less than 3000...

stage 2 is a real bad way to start. to get 350 ditch the supercharger. either get a better super, or a turbo. only way without nitrous.

harrop, h/e, meth, dual pass, cai, headerback exhaust, 60's, def. smaller pulley( don't know, dont have harrop exp.) insane tune. possibly some internals, like lower comp. pistons. depending on what he wants to rev to/ shift at, get some head work done-JBP stage 3 http://www.usdautosports.com/catalog...products_id=34
