burned clutch??????????
burned clutch??????????
Alrite guys here is wat i did.... i was at idle pulled the ebrake as hard as possible... shifted into second gear tried to roll out i redlined and the it just started SMOKING and SMELLING like burned clutch like no other... BUT my clutch still feels hard or even harder than before still smells like bured clutch after 3 days... what did i **** up??? and is it covered by the warranty i have 11,000 miles on it now
yea im trying to figure out why you would do what you did, but a clutch can go pretty much anytime
i dont know how you drive noramlly, some make it last 50k miles mine made it to about 28k but its all about driving conditions and what not
and just cuz u smell it once doesn't mean it is fried...just heated it up a bit, you will know your clutch is gone when you shift and the rpms dont come down properly, thus slipping
the smoking part, im not too familair with
but as far as i know the clutch has 5k mile warranty(some have gotten away with more, but that is standard)
gl with you issue and sorry if i didn't help much
