cam caps

hey im puttin my port and polished head in and i can't remember the order for the cam caps.... don't want to mess anything up....

how can you tell the difference between the two cams? i put marks on them but can't remember which is which now...

They should have arrows and numbers on them or just arrow.. (mine had one or both of them, lol fuzzy memory)... I think they point to the timing chain..

they got numbers and letters but didnt see any arrows

There are also numbers casted in the head. Follow that order. They dont look like this (without the quotes of course)? "<6" or "<1" something in that area?

My memory is good! Numbers and arrows!

Haha I am an idiot. I just saw that.

Well on one of mine (I am looking through my build pictures) it have a 312 on the exhaust side at about mid cam. IDK if that helps? I will keep going through pictures.
