cam question

its been done a thousand times and it doesnt seem to be answered...
ive got a bit of custom work getting done.

i want to rev the car out a bit more. i know the ecu is good to over 8k so why not rev it to that.

so ive tried comp cams and crane cams and they both tell me the stock cams in this car only grind to a 236... which is not aggressive enough for me.
so my idea was to grind them that far put adj. cam gears on it, and shim the exhaust side to make it flow enough for the car, but that seems like a bad idea the more i read.
so people keep telling me there is a 272 option out there, but im waiting on an email to see whats that all about...
then there is the elusive gmr cam, wich i dont think really exists so thats out of the question.
so its my understanding that i can use 2.2 cams on the car but you lose the cam position sensor, doesnt sound good but i guess it does nothing, but that doesnt sound right either.
now i was told i could get 2 2.2 intake cams and run those reground to what i want, but that seems a bit odd also... so please someone break it down a bit for me.
i am going to use the stock blower, rev the car to 8k and hopefully make over 330whp fuel and heat will not be a problem and the valvetrain will be built to match the rpms....
