Car goes into limp mode when over 5 psi of boost

The car is a 2006 Cobalt SS supercharged, only mods are a cold air intake and a ZZP midlength header/downpipe combo. Recently my car has been randomly going into limp mode when I go above 5 psi of boost, but not consistently. I can drive the car all day some days and it will be completely fine, then I'll go to work the next morning and have it go into limp on the way. When it does it I get the codes p1182 - Supercharger inlet pressure sensor performance, P0068 - MAP/MAF correlation issue, and P0101 - MAF performance. I've replaced the supercharger inlet pressure sensor and the MAP, I've also checked for air leaks in the intake and I can't find any. I've heard sometimes these cars have an issue with the CAI but the no-name one I have is identical to the Injen. I'm going to replace the MAF next, but I hate just replacing sensors until something works. If anyone has any ideas on what I should look for it'd be great, thank you!

This doesn't sound like a MAF issue or a CAI issue, so I wouldn't replace the MAF. This sounds like a SCIP sensor issue.

When you replaced the SCIP... did you only unplug the SCIP? Or did you unplug it and the Baro sensor? I ask, because they are the same sensor with the same plug... so it's possible to swap the plugs.

SCIP was done by a shop cause I was sick of diagnosing and they said it needed to be done, should I probably check? Also sometimes the CEL comes on for just the SCIP (mostly when I have the AC on for whatever reason) and the car doesn't go into limp.

I would check the connections - they shouldn't have needed to remove both connections... but stranger things have happened. Also, they might be complete and total idiots and they replaced the wrong sensor.

The SCIP should be the end of the harness; the Baro will be teed off of the main harness just before the SCIP. If the connector leading to the SCIP is teed off of the harness that leads to the Baro, then they switched the plugs.

Also, sometimes you get duds right out of the box. It happens. There's an infant mortality rate for new electronics (sensors).

What is the scip. And baro? I'm getting the 0068 and 0101 tps/map/maf correlation

I sure could use some help with mine. Bought car with freshly installed zzperformance supercharger kit all plug n play harnesses. If I unplug maf car will run and drive. As soon as I plug maf. Drive for a block no engine lights running great then bam. Low engine power. 0068 and 0101 is main code. Changed maf and gas pedal. Build has literally no hours on it. Really could use some help

SCIP is pretty much an LSJ only thing. I don't believe it is utilized on 2.2/2.4 swaps.

Sounds like you have an issue with your MAF somewhere along the line. Was the car properly tuned after the S/C install?

Alright, so the connectors are all definitely plugged in to the right sensors. This morning I exchanged the SCIP for a new one and I'm still having the same issue. Not sure if this could be relevant, but It also seems like my intercooler pump isn't working because I don't see any flow when I open the filler neck. Is there any way that could cause this problem?

Also just want to add, with my OBD2 reader hooked up it shows 10" HG at the MAP at idle, but the boost gauge reads 20". Is there any chance the car is detecting some sort of over boost when I get to 5 PSI, thinking it's actually way more? Or is my boost gauge just probably broken? Thanks again for the help.

Also just wanna add when the car is off it shows at 29.2" HG

A bad intercooler pump won't do that, in my experience. You'll lose power and if you push it hard enough, long enough... it'll boil the water out of the system and shoot it out of the overflow tube.

I'm 99% sure that your OBD2 reader is showing you -10 psi at idle, not in-Hg. 10 psi = ~20 in-Hg.

The MAP reading doesn't switch between PSI and in-Hg like the gauge does.
