weird boost issue

okay, so im sure somebody has had similar symptoms, but i just want to be sure and get some feedback with the codes i pulled.

p0102 - MAF sensor circuit low frequency
p0103 - MAF sensor high frequency
p0100 - MAF sensor circuit insufficient activity

and the one that bothers me:

p0234 - turbocharger engine overboost condition

okay, so obviously the MAF codes... clean maf.. check wiring/connection.. i got that.

but the overboost code? could a faulty maf/wiring cause this.

also, my symptoms were odd. Car was driving fine on the highway.. got off the highway, after going from a light it felt a little ''sluggish'' still drove fine, would just make absolutely 0 boost no matter throttle position. then after a couple minutes it was normal again. this happened maybe 10 times. and then the CEL came on.

any input is appreciated. thanks :]

bumping this because it's started happening again (haven't really been driving the car much, as I have a beater DD)

only code I don't see anymore is the p0234.

maf could just be going bad. overboost issue could be caused by maf going bad reading the incorrect amount of air coming into the engine.
