car won't accelerate!
I've recently had a motor replaced in my car. as well as HP tuned,42's 2.8 pulley exhaust and coolings mods. Well i decided to punch it today's weather on a straight road, kinda rainy out, and the car was bogging not accelerating almost choking to move fast. nothing sound different than usual. the car has been having a unusual smell. Not a clutch burning smell and not a plastic or rubber burning smell but everytime i gun it would smell alittle....
I don't think im going static but idk.
I'm about to call the mechanics and see if they know what it is. problem is won't be able to see them till saturday. Car drives fine until i punch it. I'm worried i punch it and boom goes the motor.
if anyone has any idea's lmk.
also No check engine light. Shifting into gears has been a bit rough but the car does have 106k so idk what the could be. I'm about to trade this bitch in and go get something else!
car also revs perfectly find but under WOT it seems to be sluggish if not acting slow
never did the spark plugs. Don't think the shop replaced em. i might try this tomorrow

Well did the car start doing this after you got tuned?
Or did it just start doing it?
What kind of air intake set up do you have on your car?
if you have an aftermarket 1 you can get water on the map sensor and it causes issues. If it didn't ruin it just simply pull it out and blow air on it to dry it off. And dry the air filter.
I ran 42's with a 2.8 and nos for a long time so I know you're not going static.
Also what is your exhaust setup?

Ok we'll first apparent thing is when it rains wether you have a stock air intake or not you have te ability to suck condensation/ humidity/ water into the intake. If the car does the the metering of air is skewed and therefore causes: bogging, buckage, smell of fuel unburned, and so on. Never "get in it in the rain if possible.
If the maf is say dirty from the rain, it'll cause the car to actually run rich or lean up top because the car is not metering the complete air it should. So say the car at 9000-10000 hertz is usually reading 32 lbs per min, but once that maf gets dirty it will see 18. So relative point is your car can be running lean or awfully rich from the speratic adjustments the car is making.

UPDATE: car wasn't building/holding boost and supercharger wasn't screaming. When i first drove it on my way home it hit 7-10lbs of boost and as the rpms went higher the boost went lower. by the time i was half way home the car started to act somewhat better with me hitting 13-14lbs of boost and supercharger had a little whine to it.
It just started doing this. I was tuned about a month ago.
2.8 pulley
shorter gm belt
NGK R plugs
Ported blower
GM upgraded clutch and throw out bearing
42'slb injectors
hptuned
Front mount heat exchanger
20% tint all the way around
Poly trans mount inserts
Ottp spherical control arm bushings
3" fujita intake
2.5" hi flow catted downpipe
3" Vibrant exhaust
Red Powdercoated valvecover
dual pass endplate
red painted dash trim/black pieces
red painted calipers
Slotted and drilled rotors with hawk brakes
my mods
