Hey guys in getting a P0240. Which i found on this site is a Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance. What does this mean? Ive searched and didnt really find what im looking for...thanks

ive had this cat on my car for like 2.5 years...i bet its becuase its a high flow. Can i have my tuner turn off the rear 02 and still pass emissions?

 

idk after looking more there's different versions of that P0240 apparenlty, one is the one u mentioned one says it's the o2 sensors. weird.

 

Either A)Your cat is plugged B)Ur cat isnt working or C) a O2 sensor is bad. Ive got the same thing and my cat is oem

 

I just had the car retuned last saturday. I had him turn the engine codes back on i think because of emissions. I dont know if thats what he did cuz i know nothing about tuning.....thanks

I think ill have him turn the rear 02 back off.

 

oh well yea just tell him to go shut one of them off it'll take less than a minute lol.
in HPT tehre is a big list of sensors and dtc's that you can shutoff or turn on.

 

With it turned off you think it will pass emissions?

 

It should if everything else is in line.

 

should check with other people in oh area but i don't see why it would cause a fail

 

Meaning it will pass the computer check.. but it may not pass actual emissions checks..

 

In ohio all they do it plug it into the obd2 thing and thats it. For cars 1996 and newer

 

^^^ Then all you need to worry about are the codes... which can be turned off with the hptuners.
