check engine light help

Unhappy check engine light help

k so i just got my car put back together after replaceing the vavles started it up it runs good it hasnt been wanting to start on the first try but other than that its runs good but i keep getting a check engine light for: camshaft to crankshaft correlation bank 1 sesor B ive reset it and it just comes back i lined up the timing marks right i double checked it before i sealed everything up any ideas???

Take it too an advanced auto parts or auto zone and they will scan the code for you for..wait for it..FREE

I had a problem with mine last week after replacing the head gasket. I was the cam sensor unplugged. I was getting check engine light and took couple tries to start.

i have acess to a scanner and it says camshaft to crankshaft correlation bank 1 sensor B

ive already checked all my connections and there all hooked up

ok bring number 4 cylnder up on tdc compression stroke align the timing marks on the cps housing 11 oclock

Did you make sure you did the timing proceedure correctly? Did you make sure the camshaft sensor is lined up correctly? It definitely sounds like a timing issue of some kind.

yes on the timing however i didnt know about the cam sensor how do i check that???
