Update....

I installed the intake yesterday because it was 72 here in Buffalo... Well here are some pics. Obviously no fitment issues to deal with


Looks Stock








Install went very smooth.. and i'm not gonna brag or anything but the butt dyno senses very smooth and quick accel and it does pull a little harder. And of course the whine is loud just like all the other intakes. and i'm not even going to speak about the CEL because i'm not going to jinx myself. I'll be getting Stage 2 anyways but still...let's just say i'm all good with the CEL ... i'll to take it somewhere to get it dyno'd... i don't have a baseline dyno though to go off of

Wll i will rephrase my last statement about the CEL it just came on. I'm getting Stage 1 anyways so it'll fix it

Yeah when my K&N was installed, I had no code for about a day. Then click...it comes on. It comes and goes evey now and then, but when we get the re-flash, GOOD BY CODE!

Update 2

Well I have had my intake on for about 1 week now and have driven aproximately 300-400miles. the CEL came on and quickly went off after the car was started 3 times and hasn't come on since. Only came on the first couple days and went back off and I have been driving 4-5 days without a CEL

I have had my intake like that since last August. So i was one of the first to have a "CAI". I have had no problems with mine.
