clutch install problems...

Hey guys,

Here's the situation.. At first I had my exedy rebuilt(resurfaced disks and a new plate) along with new lnf slave and clutch pipe. When I installed those parts, I had a drip from the bottom of the bell housing. I figured it was a faulty slave since I have read a few threads of some people getting faulty slaves. So, I bought a new slave and the same thing happened. So , I bought 2 more(a lnf and a lsj) after I put the lnf slave one and it did the same thing I began to think that maybe it the rebuilt clutch so I bought a new ky clutch and a lsj stock flywheel and put it in with the lsj slave I ran out of day light before finishing it up. Anyone know anything that could be causing the leaking? I have checked the rubber tip on the clutch pipe and made sure there wasn't anything in the distribution block. The pedal holds good pressure at all times. I don't understand it. Sorry for the long post but any ideas would be great..

when i got my clutch put in, i had a leak. but came to figure out it was just from all the fluid from bleeding the clutch and it was pooling on the bottom and coming out. only lasted for like a day. but this doesnt really sound like your problem.

drive it for a few days, if the pedal feels the same you are fine, if it starts to get soft you know you have a leak. I bled mine from the top first time, had air in the system and it was ****. 2nd time i ran my tube under the bumper to my bleeder and i've been fine since, 400 miles later now. 1300 or so on the clutch now.(zzp s2 and fidanza flywheel)

well, it is finally all back together but the clutch will not disengage.. It has a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, slave, and pipe so i am pretty sure all that is fine. I have good pedal pressure and a buddy I know says it could be the master cylinder leaking internally. it was working fine before this clutch install but I dont know what else it could be. anyone have any ideas?
