clutch pedal issues
my car is 06 sssc with 48,000 last night i was driving and got on it around 45 mph and let out,,,i then pulled into a gas station for gas obviously and when i came to a stop i relaized the pedal wouldnt go all the way down... i can press it all the way down but its very stiff after the disengaging point.,,,.roughly a 1 to 2 inches pressed is fine and normal but once it goes past that point its very stiff. it makes no noises and shifts thru gears fine.. could this be air in a line? or a misaligned clutch fork and thorw out bearing??? idk what to do but i dont wanna ignore it even tho it shifts fine.
hydraulic clutch. after hard pull or driving in low gear for a extended time, clutch gets stiff for easyer shift when raceing. when it does that pump the clutch a couple of times and it will get soft agean. my ss/sc does the same thing.
My car is doing the same thing. 99% chance its your slave cylinder taking a shat.
Had a bud have the same proble on his 05 RL, same as me...1st stiff clutch, then bad clutch slip, then boom....
