Cold Plugs

At what point in modding does the cobalt ss/sc's plugs need to be made steps colder?

When you go with smaller pulleys because they generate more heat. I wouldn't hurt to get colder plugs with your set up but you wouldn't have to.

i copied this from cobalt performance parts.


Stock Pulley Size is 3.346"

Stock System can handle the 3.30"
Colder Plugs 3.20"-3.10"
Colder Plugs and larger injectors (42-44lb) with tuning for 3.00-2.90
Colder Plugs and larger injectors (50-65lb) with tuning for 2.80-2.70
Colder Plugs Snout machine and larger injectors (65lb+) with tuning for 2.60 or smaller.
