Yeah, I have 42's and a 3.0 pulley and those are the same plugs I'm using. They do help. Set the gap to like .0032.

Don't use anything else. Stay away from the mystery plugs.

That seems a little large. I find 0.035 works best with my setup. Hell, that's the gap my spark plugs game with from the factory.

zzp and ottp say you should run a gap of 0.32-0.34, I think everyone just listens to them. It does seem a little low though.

Well, my manual says 0.039, but my plugs came gapped at 0.035 from the factory. Also, my car came with iridiums from the factory even though the manual calls for platnium plugs. You need to mess around with the gap to find what works best for your car. A car that has a GM Tune runs best with the factory plugs. You really dont need 1-step colder unless you have a custom tune, and extensive mods.

*Correction you are getting a custom tune. I missed that part. Sorry.*

thats weird that your car came with a gap of .035 as the factory setup should be ran at .042

ive never looked into hondas much i just never really had the urge to learn about them. i have heard that they run high compression and tend to blow up under any good level of boost without something being done to the motor but i could be wrong about that.

Factory plug gap for an 07' was 0.039. At least that's what the manual claims. 0.042 is a little on the large side for a forced induction plug gap. I heard some earlier SS/SC's claim the stock plug gap is 0.040, but i never heard 0.042.

I also found it weird that my car came installed with A/C Delco / NGK Iridiums rather than the platnium plugs as well as my 0.035" plug gap.
