what is the coolant system bleed procedure

 

i've always filled it up to the top of the radiator, let it sit for a few minutes then turned the car on for 5 seconds, shut it off rinse and repeat until there are no more bubbles and the coolant level stops dropping in level.

 

i recently just changed out my radiator because the old one was leaking. i topped off the resover and just turned on the car. on the initial start up i just watched the resover and filled it up as needed. i havent had any problems since then (over heating and or low water) and where i come from its a daily 110 degrees outside!!t
