Hey myoshizawa819
Sorry for the delay in posting back the lube sounds like a great idea once the snow breaks. We dodged a bullet with this past storm ! at least in my area.

Yeah, I"m anxious to hear the Borla/GM one as well. I'm not a fan of the Corsa sound so I'm hoping the Borla sounds a little better.

I'll try to get some pictures and a video clip up soon. The video clip won't be good since it will be from my digital camera.

Wondering the same thing... Why is Borla selling it for $800 on their website and it's like 1/2 off at gmpartsdirect?? Same design? is the GM version a cheaply put together? Not saying Borla stuff is cheap.. I love their exhausts

And this is why im still very confused, if borla makes the 2.0 exhaust, why is corsa listed under the cobalt?

The corsa is most likely not for the 2.0 . But that is just a guess. All the other parts listed on this site for other things like exhaust manifold, ported heads, cams, cam gears are in the system and available but not listed under the cobalt section either.

It doesn't check this thread which is where the part numbers came from.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/kits-out-7965/

post number 5. We are all going off this for most part numbers. The poster seems reputable despite what some may say....

I work for GM Partech and for the part numbers provided it has Borla for the vendor. So there's another proof for you.

Some Chevy dealers have been carrying Corsa products for a long time so it's possible your dealer actually has the Corsa. My dealer has a big ass Corsa banner hanging in their showroom and will install their systems as a dealer installed option.

The GM performance parts book for the Cobalt 2.2 ecotec recommends the Corsa system. The GM system (sold through accessories not performance parts) is a Borla. The GM book did come out before the Borla system did though.
