Anyone running a cooler temp thermostat, what are you using and where did you get it?

Rod bolts - anyone have an aftermarket source, ARP claims they don't have anything, anybody know of an alternative to factory parts?

Head gaskets - anybody using anything other than the Cometic? Is there an aftermarket MLS one available?

 

Dude! Cometic > all. Theres no reason to use anything else.

Rod bolts, I'd suggest calling a rod company, and getting a custom set of rods made, they usually include rod bolts

 

Well, the head may come back off in the near future, another $100 gasket is gonna suck.
