yeah, the brackets are going to get redone for the intercooler (hopefully that will help the fitment issues a little). The reason I didn't get the extended tip 20g is because I got this one second hand (albeit brand new never used) from a member here.

Tyrone, sorry bro....you have to settle with being GMSA's token....we already have one

OMG that was the worst thing I ever had to do on the car so far. I'm a small guy and I thought I was gonna die from exhaustion. I used my upper body and a 70lb wait to try and keep it together while I struggled to put and tighten the screws.

that s/c was always meant to be a functional piece. Besides, you assume that there's no spare parts near me

Also....I had decided some time after this show (or slightly before this particular show) that I'm not going for a show quality ride. I just want it to look nice to me. It's my dd, and the only one it needs to impress is myself, and occasionally my wife.

This build = sex. Love the color on the Manifold bro. Very nice. Just take your time like you're doing and get everything straightened out. That 20g will hold you over for a while Your car's so clean, I'm jealous haha.

Thanks for the good review man. haha At least I think it was good

just wait til those stock headlights come in and I start my next project. It'll start with Buy HID's DIY kit, but I want to play around with painting the plastic, and get some eyelids on there.

Thanks for the comments guys! Hopefully this week will be the rebirth! Gonna put it on a "get me home" tune, and once everything is broken in properly, we'll open her up.

Okay, so, the last time I update this thread (or bumped) was almost two months ago. Car is NEAR completion now. But we had some major issues with parts. Here's what's been going on:

-THE BIGGEST ******* HEADACHE E-V-A-R was the hahn turbo mani that I purchased. As indicated in my other threads, it was made for a j-bod. FFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!! So we had to order a mani from ZZP.

-Along with the ZZP mani, we ordered two o2 bungs (stainless), a 3" maf tube, flanges for custom exhaust piece, and some other misc. stuff.

-ZZP's mani was on back order. FAK!!! So the rsfs and oil lines were taken care of in the mean time, and not much else got done.

-Three weeks later, ZZP stuff finally shows, and REAL progress was made. Quality parts too!! Thx guys!

-Weird situation happened with v-band flange, so we had to cut it off and rig a new flange on it.

-Charge pipes currently being fabbed, along with intake. Intercooler was "persuaded" to move to the right slightly, and the crash bar was "motivated" to fit

I have a cell pic of the exhaust piece, but it's on my cell phone, and I can never get my cell to do what I want. But it's awesome ****! Any day now, the next post I put will be pics of the finished product.

my intercooler isn't centered either. It's a bit too large and I'd have to figure out a way to move the radiator back cus I don't want to cut into the crash bar. good work keep it up!

a little cut here and there isn't that bad. I was honestly thinking about just leaving it off.

I've honestly never seen something like that. But I'm glad we all agreed on what the simplest solution was.

Damn guys, you made me into a liar

I submit these for everyone's viewing pleasure:

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...r/129af5a1.mp4

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...r/53bf5495.mp4

The tune is by no means dialed in yet. I'm only boosting 15psi at the moment until I get a manual boost controller (and possibly bigger cojones). We're also chasing a weird "clunking" noise that's occurring somewhere under the intake manifold and behind the alternator.
