I don't have a hissing noise per say, but there is a noise that we're chasing. It's more like clunking noise. When we put a stethoscope to it, the noise was loudest underneath the intake manifold, and behind the alternator.

Pic of the curved exhaust housing between the turbo and the downpipe. Not a true 3" b/c it would've been a PITA for fitment with the 20g mated to the zzp manifold.

Dump pipe from the wastegate:

3.5" ZZP MAF tubing sandwiched between 2.5" cold side piping. 2.5" hot side, 2.5" cold side. Nothing in the bay except the intake.

99.9% completed engine bay. Just needs the candy red coil cover to be reinstalled.

All that's left is a boost controller and to finish the tune. ATM I'm boosting 15psi off the wastegate...but I'm happy with it. The fab work is ******* fantastic, and it's an overall clean look. Still undecided if I want to get the charge pipes powdercoated though. Huge thank-you goes to Tengis (Zach @ Kratos Concetps). He did all of the fab work and had to deal with the headache of the fuel pump recall (which somehow my car was NOT qualified for...)

Should twincharged it. Hell you have all the damn parts lol. Clean build nonetheless.

nothing wrong with twincharging, just seems like a whole hell of a lot of work to do that a bigger turbo could do the same. Don't want to start a flame war about it (plenty of other threads for that). But it's just not my cup of tea...

Well a bigger turbo isn't going to give you any power in the low-midrange of your rpm band. But with front wheel drive, you aren't necessarily trying to do that. It's a good looking build though don't get me wrong.

Having the piping change diameter that close to the MAF is going to mess things up. Should have a bit more 3" piping before the MAF to help things settle down a bit. Looks good otherwise.

care to explain good sir? Are you referring to the velocity of the air, or the tumbling?

I just woke up... I can't think right now.

But its not good. The air needs time/room to smooth out before it gets to the MAF.

Just put your reducer 6'' or so in front of the maf piece and run a small piece of 3.5'' piping to it if you can. It looks tight in there
