Thanks for the response. Was that the 60ft for every run in the post? (not signature) I am just curious if the 60ft are different for each, how that may have affected the runs.

Once I pulley down and add an intake and header, this car is going to wake up real quick.
is meth/water injection safe?? Doesnt it hurt the engine or sc...

one of your aftermarket companies NEEDS to make some solid or more solid lower control arms. Get rid of alot of that wheel hop and get some better traction. that's what you guys need to work on, traction. Like someone else said, cars trapping 107 should not be running mid 13's and isn't somebody trapping like 110 and running high 12's??? LOL!

its no wheel hop at all that is slowing them down the first gear is the weak link if you can get a hard launch of your on your way to a good run.

Water/meth is as safe as you tune it to be, it will not hurt the s/c or engine

meth injection is like loosing your virginity....there are no negative side effects to it. I've seen modified cars pick up 60-80whp with the simply addition of meth which allowed them to tune more aggresivly

You've converted me as well! Any other approach would be blasphemous.

I've noticed some threads popping up about cooling mods and heat exchangers. So I'm bumping this up from the dead so newbie's and people that never saw this thread will be educated.

COOLING MODS DO ADD POWER! BELIEVE IT! My car is living proof.

is there such a thing as a cheap meth kit... and do you actually use meth in it or are you using water and windshield washer fluid?

washer fluid is already mixed, usually quite weak though.

thats why people buy boost juice. higher concentrations.

Devil's Own methanol kit can be had for around $205-210 shipped. That sounds like a cheap mod to me for the results it gives. I personally buy a gallon of straight methanol from the local small engine/jr. dragster shop, use a cleaned out quart gatorade bottle and make my own 50/50 mix with a little Groovy Grape scent added. Nothing like blowing the doors off the competition and leaving them thinking "What the hell smells like grape?"

I'm very happy to see this thread come back to life with technical discussion.

I personally use extreme blue washer fluid. It is a -30 degree winter mix and it works perfectly. It's like a 60-40mix. But sometimes I throw in a couple bottles of ISO HEET which is like 99% Alcohol. And you can smell it too. lol. But it works really great and gives the best gains. I just use a cooling mist $200 kit that is boost activated. I use my winshield washer tank for my meth tank. HIDDEN FTW!

I can't wait till next season to see what kind of gains I got from the meth kit. That is the only think I haven't tested yet. After that I'm going to drop to a smaller pulley. Probably a 3.1 or something. I'm not trying to go too hardcore. But I'd like to trap 105 without even having gm stage 2. That would be awesome!
