disconnect the battery

guys, I'm installing the injen cai intake tomorrow on the 2.0, and I want to know 2 things.
1) Do I need to disconnect the battery before the install?
2) Is there anything that will help out the install, or anything that I need to know?

I can't find these to questions in the search button.

thanks guys!!!

Yes disconnect it for the entire install.
As far as help goes, put tape around the hole the intake goes through so you don't scratch up the intake.

disconnecting the battery resets the fuel trims, basically by resetting them you force your car to relearn the new trims with the increased airflow of the intake.

Do you totally disconnect the battery or just the negative?
