i've heard dont, the gains are very minimal if any.

do: plug silencer holes if you just so happen to take s/c off, makes it sound like 12psi at 7

Anyone can take the parts and put them on a base model. So be sure to check under the hood, don't just go off looks.

AKA if you just wants the looks and not the go fast, you could also pick up a base model and switch stuff out. People jump all over switching out the wingless trunk of the base models for the high rise from the SS.

LNF is the same motor with some different things done, turbo, direct injection and I think some other upgrades internally.
The LSJ (SC) in 07 had the high rise wing as an option. My LSJ came with the low rise (which I like better personally). I think i might have been an option too in 06 but not sure on that.

I thought 100% METH had a writeup where he ported the M62 and got like 2-3 PSI more.

Well I want a 2005. And yeah im smarter than to just go off looks. I know they come with the guage and speedo that hits 160. And ill be sure to check under the hood. I just want to make sure I get an 05 2.0L lsj with the highrise, the ss wheels, and the body kit. Thanks for the help guys.

True Story. And we always run water/meth before the sc.

The SS/SC never came with "chrome" wheels.

There were 3 different wheel types that came on the SS/SC (2 of them were in 2007).

Gunmetal (hyper silver) painted 5 spoke 18's 2005 & 2006.

Polished aluminum (not chrome) 5 spoke 18's 2007 optional wheel.

Gunmetal (hyper silver) 5 spoke 18's from the malibu SS (standard wheel on 07' SS/SC's).

In 2007 the low rise became an optional wing.

if ur after an 05 ss/sc they all came with the highrise and the gunmetal 18" rims. only options were onstar/side impact airbags, sunroof, g85 (limited slip differential and recaro seats) if a non g85 car then it might have colour matching inserts in the seats and door panels. the body kit is standard on all ss/sc and ss/tc models so ur good their, the interior should be all black plastic from the dash down ( ls and lt models have a biege lower half of the dash. all wheel disc brakes obviously a supercharger under the hood and the vavle cover should be flat with a cover over the coil pack and a plastic cover over the fuel rail that says ecotec supercharger on it. oh and it should have the pioneer stereo with tweeters in the doors (right beside the mirrors) and a 10" sub in the trunk

Do:

Port the LSJ head (euthansia offers this)
Port the hell out out of the inlet of the m62, and make the outlet parallel with the rotor blades. (euthanasia offers this)
3"-3.5" intake
ls4 throttle body (scaler set to 4950)
Alcohol/Water Injection or e-85
60-80 lb injectors
2.5 pulley (10gph nozzle required for 19-20 psi on 91 octane)
full header back exhaust
tune

dont:
ever look back I mean listen to the turbo fanbois... theyre to caught up in their spaceship noises and flu riden cars.

Don't Spin your wheels too much or wheel hop. It can break your axle.
Thats more of a cobalt thing rather then a forced induction thing.
