dyno run

Ok so i went to the dyno yeserday and yes it was in a beatup shop but he said i ran 212 hp at 190 ftlb torque i dont believe his dyno was accurate my interceptor gauge reads 263 hp and 0-60 in 5 flat seconds my mods ar stage 2 kit, vibrant performance header, 2.5" catless dp, 3"gmpp exhaaust, 3 inch pulley, ingalls torque damper , zzp stage2 H/E , a m runnin 15 lbs of boost i have race and beat an infiniti 35 an a 350z both have about 306 hp so does 212 sound right or the 263

i dont think ur 3.0 pully is tossin 15 psi of boost, 2.9 drops about 13.5, i think 2.8 is 17 lbs, gm stage 2 kit with 2.9 pully puts down around 240whp, must have a damn good tune with the 3", but i still have my doubts on the 15 lbs

remember that your interceptor is also reading raw hp not whp... with a 20% loss in driveline, 210whp = 263hp.

thats odd, idk how a bigger pulley would run more boost than 1 size smaller..anyway ure dyno pull seems low, prolly a **** dyno, should be around 230-240 depending on tune with 3.0

depends on air density/temperature for psi

there is no gmpp 3" exhaust

usually stg 2 + stock exhaust = 15psi...still doesnt mean much

and yeah, that sounds like its low.

post the graph if you can

higher pressure(barrometer) and colder temps = higher boost/more dense air...colder it is the less gas(air) molecules will expand meaning more oxygen able to get into the engine

too many variables to compare to people who don't live near you. i saw 14-15 fwiw on my 3.0.

your aren't going to get a correct hp reading from your interceptor.....when i was gms2 tune and 3.0 it said 300 some hp on mine lmfao.

yeah pretty much...also not nearly as cold, i actually spun the 3.35" to 7354rpm and saw 14.65psi

Front wheel drive cars do not see a 20% loss from the driveline (more like 12-15%), but yes, the interceptor reading is in BHP not WHP, and it is not very accurate.

There are too many variables to make this assumption about pulley size.

Things like exhaust modifications, elevation, climate, and location will affect the boost levels.
