dyno tested the ss
I don't know if anyone is following the Street Tuner Challenge on SpeedTV but the premier edition of that show dynoed the SS at 196 whp using three pulls in 4th. They used a dyno where the wheel hubs of the car bolt right onto the dyno boxes as opposed to running tires on a belt drive. Could this explain some of the differences possibly? BTW, it was GM Performance Divison that actually did the dyno so I am inclined to trust their numbers the most.

I used to go to TAG Motorsports as well and dyno numbers have always been a little low.
My previous ride pulled 205 whp there and at a different one pulled 215-220. As long as you put down the right times I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Never trust dyno numbers on different dynos.....heck, I don't even like to compare runs from the same dyno, but dynoing on different days.
I only use data as hard evidence if its done back-to-back on the same day, same dyno.
I used to work at Edelbrock, and for some reason, the engine dyno's there would see lower numbers than most other engine dyno's from around the country. Sometimes being as much as 100hp difference. East of the Mississippi always seems to read higher than most parts of the country too....
