e85 timing question
ok i was told by a friend that the lsjs dont make much if any power over 25 degrees of timing....im at 31 with no kr and a iat2 of 150. its 102 out here in california now thats y its so high. can any of u e85 guys shed some more light on this i also have zzp long tube header catless dp. zzp 3" catback. and a ported and polished m62.
Your friend is right.
A lot depends on how the timing table is shaped. If you can get to 25-26* of timing your golden. Anything more and you are just causing extra stress on the engine.
Where are you running that much timing?
