I took it personally!!

That is the problem with all this information about Meth injection. Most of it is being distributed by the people who sell the systems. So it is hard to know what is true and what is BS. I just try to keep an open mind about everything.

I did a methanol injection tune yesterday, a properly tuned kit runs amazing, keeps IAT2 low, and pulls like an LSJ should.

Meth injection is a good way to go if you don't have e85 but you get just as much out of you lsj with e85 maybe more. I am running 25 degress of timing right now on e85 I know people with the same set up that I have but meth and are only running 21 degrees of timing. What you do really depends on what is avaiable around you. I have a lot of e85 around me so I chose e85 cause its a lot safer. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have both a meth kit and e85 the meth kit to cool and the e85 to raise the octaine.

I agree with you 100%, e85 is great, im running it in my car at 25*, the meth tune i ran 23* and the car pulls amazing. e85>meth for sure. But for everyone that doesnt have access to e85, meth is definitely a good substitute.

agreed. Just gotta learn a little chemistry/physics and its really basic though. Hell, you can probably google the formulas for octane increases and such

25* falling to 23* at redline on 5gph/75% meth mix for me..

well.. actually the pump died last week.. i'm running 20* falling to 17* right now..LOL..

ahhh if only e85 was a good option for me.. (i commute 100 miles per day minimum.. and there's only e85 on one end of the trip)

You know so far I like e85 but I am starting to wish I had my meth kit back and running normal gas. The reason for that is how much gas the car goes through now. 250 miles to a tank of gas I fill up 1 ether every week or every other week now.

Its way cheaper to fill though so its a pretty even trade off. I get 20-21mpg on E85 in town compared to 25 or so on premium, so its not that big of a change. I will never go back to meth. The car felt nowhere near the same as it does on E

I will find out tomorrow I am guessing 120% but it will all be good if I can keep getting gas at 11.7
