Just wondering if my engine telling me that the car is running rich is valid considering i have a Intense tune and bigger injectors... or is the computer just confused? car still isnt running correctly.... any help would be appreciated. There is no leaks from the supercharger...

 

with the intence tune on the PCM your car should not be telling you that its runing rich becasue it was tuned for that.

something else is wrong....but i dont know what the problum is...this is one of the few i havent ran into.

 

Probably because your LTFT are too low (more than -20)

Get a scanner and check out what your LTFT are and report back.

question zin....I totaly agree with looking at the LTFT but would the STFT have any effect?

i've got a real solid understanding of all/almost all the tuneing paramiters EXCEPT the short and long fuel trims.

 

what is LTFT and STFT? also what kind of scanner do i need?.... if anyone doesnt know my car received the idleing to high code, the rich code, and is Knocking like crazy.....

 

The interceptor tells the LTFT and STFT.
My buddies car is doing the same thing. He has basically the same mods (plus a K&N). Under WOT he gets -2.3 LTFT though, I'm not seeing where or why it keeps popping the 0172 (rich) or 0058 (high idle) codes though. I'm missing something, just not sure what it is.

 

hes getting the rich and high idle code as well? does he have an intense kit?
