after 6000 miles of babying the clutch and boosting to 15 psi once a week the results, someone explain

The full face Exedy disc are only rated for like 200 ft/lbs. Most likely bad driving habbits with too much torque.

Could have just been a defect too, but Exedy usually has pretty high standards.

exedy claims their clutches have a higher raitin then stock oems, its not bad driven bc i dont race or take the care n e ways but to get groceries.

Just because you don't drive hard doesn't mean you know how to drive properly.


Hmmm. You posted in the LSJ section. I'll take it you own an LSJ. What's really odd is Exedy doesn't make a full face for the LSJ......

that was the oem replacement bc i was short on money after just buyin my house

I talked to a tech here at work. He said a failure like that could be a clutch defect or something wasn't aligned propely. Tranny, input shaft, imporperly cut flywheel, or anything else like that.
