someone tell me bc all i know is that i have a centerforce dfx goin in bright and early in the mornin as soon as it warms up.

 

The full face Exedy disc are only rated for like 200 ft/lbs. Most likely bad driving habbits with too much torque.

Could have just been a defect too, but Exedy usually has pretty high standards.

 

exedy claims their clutches have a higher raitin then stock oems, its not bad driven bc i dont race or take the care n e ways but to get groceries.

 

Just because you don't drive hard doesn't mean you know how to drive properly.


Hmmm. You posted in the LSJ section. I'll take it you own an LSJ. What's really odd is Exedy doesn't make a full face for the LSJ......

 

they make the exedy OEM replacement

 

I would never have expected someone to put an aftermarket stock power handling clutch in a car...

click cuz right now im in the market for a clutch and have NO IDEA on what to go with

 

this was an exedy i'm goin with a centerforce dfx. going in today. n my experiences with clutches any clutch that has a spring in it is garbage.

that was the oem replacement bc i was short on money after just buyin my house

 

Return should still be under warranty.

I talked to a tech here at work. He said a failure like that could be a clutch defect or something wasn't aligned propely. Tranny, input shaft, imporperly cut flywheel, or anything else like that.
