exhaust question

i want the zzp 3in catback

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

i also want the vibrant header dp combo

Vibrant Stainless 4-2-1 Header - Over The Top Performance

just trying to make sure im understanding this correctly before i order. on the catback system i need to set my option to 2.5 dp flange since the vibrant dp has a 2.5 exit correct?

thanks!!

also im getting the catback first so i want it to bold to stock , and then getting the combo later when i have money for a tune to go with it.

Yes, you want the 2.5 inch flange to mate to a 2.5 inch down pipe. Unless you have very high hp goals (as in possibly a TVS blower in your future) I think that a 3" exhaust is overkill. A 2.5" will do fine. Also, if by "bold to stock" you mean sound levels/tone, you would want to look into a exhaust system with "Touring" in the name, or else you will find they all range from louder than stock to significantly loud.

Good luck to you.

Yes, you should be using a 3in DP anyways, not a 2.5in, mated to a 2.5in flange if you want to use a 2.5in exhaust.

well the only reason i asked is the vibrant exhaust can bolt to a stock dp which im guessing is a 2.5" flange but the exhaust is 3" all the way
