Green gunk for cause of high IAT'2?

so we took the bleed line out of the stock heat exchanger and it looked like there wasnt even a hole there

i just wanna know what that green gunk was and if there is more in the stock heat exchanger

Hmm that's pretty strange.
Green gunk almost sounds like some sort of copper corrosion residue. What kind of coolant mixture were you using in your heat exchanger?
At least you fixed your problem. I don't know how your opt b. was set up, but always remember to make the expansion tank the highest point in the cooling system.

when dexcool has oxygen trapped in the system it forms a type of gooey gunk. It happened to me in my Grand am. I don't know what color it was but that might be your problem, that is if your using dexcool

The only way to really be sure would be to do a flush and remove the laminova cores to see if they are plugged. I have a ported intake manifold and will be switching to the green stuff when I change it over
