I believe NGK makes plugs that are a step colder than your stock ones.

I run NGK with stage 2 w/2.9, CAI, exhaust and what not. NGK BKR7e plugs work just fine gapped at .040. You don't need no $6+ per fancy plug.

I heard a couple bad stories about the Zex plugs' tip breaking off. My NGKs havent done me wrong. 1 step colder is all you need. Besides you have NGKs in there stock too.

i run NGK BKR7E's also. i love 'em. i run 'em on GM Stage 2, 2.9" pulley, and more... with just a CAI, don't bother with new plugs. when you go S2, get the BKR7E's.. they're one step colder.

Yes they are. When I took the stock plugs out after about 3K miles with the stage 2 upgrade they looked fine. If I was going to keep the stage 2 pulley on I certainly wouldn't go to a colder than stock plug with only a stage 2 upgrade pulley.

I did change them with the 2.9 pulley and will check the plugs after a while.

NGK 1 step colder.

copper vs iridium is mostly a price vs longevity debate.
both great plugs.

Copper is alot cheaper, and has very very slightly better conductivity (if i remember)
the iridiums, while more expensive, will outlast the coppers by quite a bit.

I personally think zex plugs are gimmicky and untrustworthy. just my opinion.
oh and those few posts of people having one of those pretty 3 terminals break off inside the engine helped.....
