So I wanted to know who has or has access to a factory service manual. I want to know what one would cost and also what it shows in the manual about camber adjustment.

 

you should be able order this straight from the parts dept. at the dealer, if it available yet.

 

camber adjustment- remove lower strut bolt (keep top tight)
grind out the bolt hole opening pos or neg depending on what your specs read

replace lower bolt

loosen top bolt

slide strut in or out depending on what the measurement is
tighten both bolts

resweep for caster

done
repeat if necessary

$90 for what I've posted? There's 3000K pages in the Helms Manuals which means there's probably three volumes to the set.

 

Theres only 2. The 2nd Volume is for the Transmission though the 1st contains some info on it as well. The 1st manual is 90$

 

so dark the link you posted is that for both manuals? or just the one? I will need both of them.

did you read that out of the manual? or just blowing smoke? if not does it give range of what camber it can have?

 

www.helminc.com is where you get em from, but I think you have to have a dealer order them for you..

 

I ordered mine through a dealer and I got the 2 manual set.

 

It's a manual set, it would be the same as what Zinner has.


OneLunG, You can order them through Helms themselfs but it's cheaper to go through a dealer like Fred Beans Pontiac Buick GMC.

 

I would just go to the dealer its safer.

 

Helm Inc is the OEM producer of all factory manuals, so it's buying the same exact thing, but cheaper...

 

I'll wait to find it on Ebay in a year or so. Be just like buying my Cavalier book on there for $30.00
