Fairly loud Clacking noise after head replacement

A cracked exhaust valve caused me to replace the head. Ever since then, i've had high crankcase pressure (dipstick pops out, smoke coming out of the hole when it does). It also has a very, very loud clacking noise that sounds sort of like a supercharger bushing, or a timing chain tensioner. I have yet to notice any real power loss, but I haven't exactly had a chance to go anywhere near wot.

Problems:
-Dipstick pops out
-Loud clacking noise
-sometimes, at idle, it will bounce from 600-2000 rpm
-at idle, the lowest reading on the gauge is -18 psi
-tendency to shutoff when bouncing rpms, but rarely
-no codes, or noticeable drive-ability problems or power loss at normal cruising speeds.

Any possible insight on what the problem might be? It has been dyno tuned by Backstreet Performance in Medina, Ohio. But i'm flashing back to Stage 2 ASAP.

Mods: Stage 2 kit, dyno tune
233.7 whp, 218 tq

My call is a faulty install, Intake Manifold gasket as described in the dipstick sticky, and the cam chain tensioner causing the knocking.
