False knock?

Lately i've been getting odd knock retard reading on my interceptor. The readings seem to vary in intensity ranging from 2-as high as 30 which is leading me to think its getting a false reading. It seems to jump around more when starting out slowly or when in reverse. Does this seem to be false knock being caused by poor mounts or could this be due to a cracked piston? I pulled and changed plugs yesterday and they all appear fine i put new ones in and same issue. I'm not getting any engine codes either.

I'm not sure...I've read somewhere about aftermarket exhausts banging on the frame and people getting false knock readings

I gotcha man. Just let us know what it is. I was reading on my Dad's Turbo Buick forum about false knock. And the sense is designed to "listen" for a specific frequency of sound and thats "knock." The guy posted a list of things that have roughly the same tone/frequency most of them where exhaust things.
