false p0300

so my interceptor shows p0300 when i scan it with my scan tool it passes i have seen a few people have this problem, my guess is the interceptor perimeters are more sensitive then our pcm, anyone know a fix

Mine did it twice. I just cleared it both times and it has stayed clear for about a month and a half now.

If you have a lightweight flywheel i noticed our cars throw that code. Haven't found out why but i'm going with the faster rotation of mass

Yup me too,
Every once in a while, I'll get a Maitenance Indication Lamp illuminating.
Ill check it, P0300, and then clear the DTC and it goes out.

I just ignore it for the most part.
I consider it a nusicance fault.
If you want more evidance of it, set it up to show Misfires
it will show cylinders 1 - 8
and if you rev, you'll see misfires on cylinders 5 - 8 as well as 1-4.
Since we do not have cylinders 5-8 then it must be a data error.

clear it and ignore....i get it about once or twice a month, just a stored misfire code....nuthin to stress over
